The Blake Austin College Vocational Nursing program aims to equip every student with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a productive and efficient member of the healthcare team. With a combination of both clinical practice and theoretical classes, the college’s program teaches students how to take care of patients of all ages and function in diverse health care facilities.
Students will receive excellent instructions through their best team of Vocational Nursing professors who have the right education and experience for the job. With a small student-to-teacher ratio, Blake Austin College is able to provide focused and dedicated attention to every student.
The Blake Austin College Vocational Nursing program is provided in an 8,000-square foot wing facility. It is furnished with the latest medical equipment and tools to simulate the clinical environment. In addition to the clinical setting, there is a large study area that comes with media resources and computer access. This place supports the entire learning experience of each student.
For students who completed the program, they will further be prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical/Vocational Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Licensed vocational nurses would have the legal rights to practice their profession and become an active health care team member.
